Anyone who has children knows  moms have to put together any Father’s Day gift. While I’m sure your husband is just dying to get a tie or beer making kit (note the sarcasm), Father’s Day gift baskets can create a unique and memorable gift if you go about it the right way. Gift baskets shouldn’t be considered too girly for men. In fact, gift baskets are available in a huge range of designs to suit his personality perfectly! Here are five unique ideas for you.

1) Sports Themed Gift Baskets

A Mother’s Struggle With the Boy Scouts Ban Against the Gay Community

History of the Boy Scouts of America

The Boy Scouts of America began its membership recruiting in our school a month ago. Being the mom of two boys, I always thought we would be active members of the Boy Scouts. However, the organization’s stand against gay members and leaders has made me hesitate about getting involved.

The Boy Scouts of America professes to teach strong American values, all the while discriminating and excluding openly gay members and leaders. When buying a lawn mower, I had absolutely no idea where to begin when buying a lawn mower. To make the decision process easier for here, here’s a starter kit in deciding what type of lawn mower you might need for your household.

How to Merge Audio Tracks in iTunes

CD of iTunes v1.0 (2001)

“How to Merge Audio Tracks in iTunes” may seem a bit off topic from what I normally write about. However, I am a complete self-professed tech geek. As a parent, I use technology all the time. Whether it’s showing off our photos on Apple TV or creating digital scrapbooks.

Tonight, I was importing a couple of my sons’ audio books into our iTunes library. One of the short picture books was broken down into multiple tracks. Seriously? I didn’t want different tracks for a 10-minute story.

I searched the web, but all I found were outdated answers for past iTunes versions. So here is the correct, current answer to the question: Continue Reading →
